David M. Jenkins joined Amerivest Business Brokers as a Senior Business Opportunities Specialist following a successful two years with another brokerage firm in the South Florida area.
Born in Seattle , Washington , David did his undergraduate work at the
University of Puget Sound , eventually going on to complete two Master's
Degrees (MBA & MSW) at Boston College.
David's outstanding twenty-five year career has prepared him well
for the business brokerage profession. He has worked in middle and
senior management positions in four different industries: Finance
(Bank of America and private mortgage broker); Telecommunications
(U S West/Qwest); Health Care (Public Systems in Colorado and Florida )
; and Hospitality (Vail Resorts). David has also managed a small private
investment/property management company for the past nine years.
In addition to his academic credentials,
David has recently obtained his
Certified Business Intermediary credentials from the
International Business Brokers Association. He is also a member of
the Florida Business Brokers Association, the Business Brokers of
Florida, and the International Business Brokers Association.
David's professionalism, knowledge and ethics puts him at the top
